How Wagtrix LLC handles information in Wagtrix and the Wagtrix Business app. Updated November 3, 2026.

Who’s who

Wagtrix is software that dog boarding, daycare and grooming businesses (kennels) use to run their day. Each kennel decides what it keeps about its own customers and their dogs, and is responsible for it; Wagtrix keeps it for the kennel and uses it only to run the service for them. For the people who sign in to Wagtrix to work, and for this site, Wagtrix LLC decides and is responsible.

What’s kept

  • Team members: name, email, phone if given, role, schedule, hours on the time clock, and messages written to the team.
  • Dog owners, kept by their kennel: names, contact details, the people allowed to pick up, addresses, dogs and their health, shot records, photos and videos, stays and appointments, signed forms, and what was charged and paid.
  • Payments: card details go straight to Stripe, the kennel’s payment processor. Wagtrix never sees or keeps a full card number.
  • The app on a phone: if you allow notifications, the address Apple or Google gives the app for sending them. The camera, photos and microphone are used only when you choose to take or add a photo or video.
  • How it’s used: a record of what was done in Wagtrix and by whom, kept so a kennel can see who did what; and page visits counted without cookies or tracking anyone across other sites. When you send us a problem, it comes with the last pages you opened and any errors, so we can find it.

What it’s used for

To run Wagtrix for the kennel: show and change its records, send the emails and notifications it asks for, take payments, keep it secure, and fix what goes wrong. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.

Who helps us run it

These services process information only to provide their part of Wagtrix, under their own security and privacy terms:

  • Supabase, the database and sign-in, and Vercel, which serves the app (both in the United States).
  • Stripe, for payments and Wagtrix’s own billing of kennels.
  • Resend, to send email.
  • Anthropic, which powers Fetch, the assistant in the app, when someone asks it something. It isn’t used to train their models.
  • Apple and Google, to deliver notifications to phones.
  • Linear, where the problems and ideas people send us are tracked.

We share information otherwise only when the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

How long it’s kept

A kennel’s records are kept while the kennel uses Wagtrix, and afterwards as its agreement with us says. A team member’s work stays in the kennel’s records after they leave, as any workplace keeps its records. Notification addresses go when you sign out or delete your account.

What you can ask for

  • Team members can delete their own account from their profile in the app. Email us to see or correct what’s kept about you.
  • Dog owners: ask your kennel, which keeps your records. If you can’t reach them, email us and we’ll help.

Security

Everything travels encrypted. Each kennel’s records are kept apart from every other kennel’s, and each person sees only what their role allows. Files such as photos and shot records are private and open only through short-lived links.

Children

Wagtrix is for businesses and the adults who work at them or bring their dogs, not for children under 13.

Changes and questions

When this changes, the date at the top changes too, and we’ll tell kennels about anything that matters. Questions: support@wagtrix.com, or see Contact.
